Juliani did all he could do to keep his relationship with his wife Lillian Ng’ang’a under the radar but ultimately the public found out and it was a disaster.
Speaking during a recent interview with a local news outlet, the veteran rapper noted he has always preferred to keep his relationships private.
Juliani said even his relationship with his baby mama Brenda Wairimu was private for two years before the public got to know they were dating.
“Even my previous relationship was ongoing for two years before people knew about it,” Juliani said.
However, the father of two regretted that things were totally different with Lillian when their relationship was made public.
There were a lot of misconceptions since Lillian had just left her ex-husband former Machakos governor and the current Foreign Affair Cabinet Secretary (CS) Alfred Mutua.
Critics demonized Juliani claiming he had eloped with someone’s wife.
He acknowledged that after his relationship with Lilian became public, they experienced a lot of trolling and online hostility.
Fortunately, he had a strong support network to help him get through it. The father of two observed that everything had subsided and he was now at rest.
Juliani and Lillian also faced threats to their lives.
“The threats were real at that particular time,” Juliani said.
He continued by praising his close friend and social activist Boniface Mwangi for standing by him and playing a crucial role in his support network at the time.
