Legendary rapper Jua Cali announced he was retiring from music early this month only to change his mind and announced his new album.
The Genge rapper announced he had opted to retire from the game much to the disappointment of his loyal hip hop fans.
Jua Cali however announced he was releasing a new album titled ‘Utu Uzima’ weeks after his retirement announcement.
When asked about his retirement announcement after releasing his new album, Jua Cali said that it was April Fool’s Day prank.
He revealed that he has no plans in the immediate future to retire from musiic.
“Once again nitarudia coz kuna watu hawakushika, hio story ya kuretire ilikua April fools he he so I thank God for good health na sound mind na kunipatia opportunity ya kuwaEntertain for all this years,” Jua Cali said.
Jua Cali was earlier forced to come out to confront critics who were urging him to retire for good after he dropped the album which ‘underperformed’.
