The talented, beautiful singer and songwriter Jovial is done doing collabos after having her fair share of collaborative projects in her career.
The former Just in Love Music signee has in the recent past become a sensational, sought-after singer who almost everybody in the music industry wants to work with her.
Some lucky artistes who have managed to work with the songbird are really lucky because she won’t be offering her services going forward, at least when you seek her out for a collaborative studio project.
Taking to social media, the singer who is an independent artiste at the moment made it clear that she won’t be involved in collaboration projects going forward right after her collaboration record dubbed ‘Around’ with Mr. Seed got released a few days ago. The song is actually quite good and it has been well received by fans across all divides.
The singer says that there are a lot of requests out there of people who want to work with her but she has turned down all of them, at least for now since she wants to focus on herself at the moment.
“No more collabos featuring me. Zitakazotoka ni za mwaka jana na nilizoshirikisha wasanii. Nashukuru we’ve learned a lot from each other. If you’ve not got a chance to work with me you never know though staki kuongea nikamaliza. Ila kwa sasa mnisamehe. Requests ni nyingi lakini samahani sio kwa sasa. We move,” she wrote on social media.
This loosely translates to;
“NO more collabos featuring me. The ones that will be released will be the ones that I featured artistes from last year. I’m grateful, we’ve learned a lot from each other. If you’ve not got a chance to work with me, you never know though I don’t want to speak conclusively. But for now, forgive me. Requests are many but I’m sorry for now. We move,”
So far, Jovial has worked with Otile Brown(numerous times), Lexsil, Mejja, Darassa, ExRay Taniua, Ssaru, Arrow Bwoy, Marioo, Bahati, and recently Mr Seed just to mention a few. Well, as can you, she’s been really busy doing some collabos!
