Jovial angrily slams people pushing her to give back to the society

Sultry singer Jovial has responded to people who are putting her under pressure in her DMs, stressing that she should give back to the society.

Talking about the issue on InstaStories, Jovial angrily stated that the pressure is making her look like a bad person who is unappreciative of the society she comes from.

According to Jovial, giving back to the community is a secret between a person and their God, noting that she does not have to reveal everything she does to the community on social media.

“There is this emotional betrayal that I find in my DMs about giving back to the community, especially signing new artists. Well, giving back to society is a personal matter between a person and God. I don’t do steam in the parade of social networks,” Jovial said.

The ‘Mi Amor’ hitmaker went on to point out that people should know that signing an artist to a label is not a way of giving back to the community, but that it is a business because a person is investing the talent.

She noted that people have also been pressuring her to sign upcoming musicians as a way of giving back to the society.

“And please let’s be exposed. “Signing an artiste is not giving back”. It’s business. I sign you, you bring me money! You screw up, I take you to court! I choose not to walk on that road. Stop with the emotional blackmail. Baraka zangu zinafurika kila siku. Mi na mshua wangu tunawacheki tu.”
