Jose Chameleone has confirmed his feud with artist-turned-politician Bobi Wine.

Chameleone in a media interview recently said that he had a lot of respect for the opposition politician and that even when Bobi Wine was injured during a political event he cried for him.

However, Chameleone lamented that when the stage of his Gwanga Mujje show was knocked down by a heavy storm on February 10 causing the postponement of the concert to February 24, Bobi Wine was one of the people who made several jokes about him.

“When my platform collapsed, I saw friends who came. People said a lot of things, but I didn’t answer, but I saw what they said,” Chameleone said.

The ‘Change’ artist recalled when Wine was left injured after an altercation with security officers in Arua during the political heat.

Chameleone said he was among those who visited him at Nsambya Hospital despite the fact that they were not in good terms at the time.

“Knowing our history and how he struggled in the music industry together, I was given the authority to go to Nsambya… And when I got there, I cried. I knew he had been punched above his weight.”

He added: “I will not blame him, but I will be open to him, we have to remove the loopholes from some of these things. There is what they call mercy. With or without him, I had to do my show.”

“And I’m not complaining… if you ask him, he will tell you why he couldn’t come… I’m just reminding him because what will he do to me?… he had problems, we were worried… Even Pallaso visited him because of that. Even my father.”
