Jose Chameleone follows in Diamond’s footsteps to launch own TV station

1 min read

Jose Chameleone has become the second musician in East Africa, after Diamond Platnumz, to start his own television station.

Many musicians usually start their own record labels after becoming successful in their music careers, but only a few have dared become media owners.

Diamond raised the bar higher in February 2018 with the launch of Wasafi TV and Wasafi Radio, and now veteran singer Jose Chameleone is following in his footsteps.

Chameleone is set to officially launch his own TV station Leone TV named after his record label Leone Island Records, just like Diamond’s Wasafi TV is named after his own label.

“20 years down the road!! @leonetelevision Loading…… 4 all my youths Loading…….. 🇺🇬 #ALAALI OUR TELEVISON STATION LOADING!!!!!!!! ✌🏽 #SIGNAL >>> Channel 541,” Jose Chameleone announced.
