Mombasa Governor and the deputy of the ODM party, Hassan Joho has left the country together with Baba’s confidant Junet Mohamed to go see and bring Raila Odinga back home after he successfully underwent minor surgery in the UAE.
Raila Odinga left the country incognito for Dubai together a small team with his daughter being a part of the team.
Mombasa Governor, Joho had earlier opened up about the current situation of Raila “Baba” Odinga and reiterated that the ODM and NASA leader was doing fine and recuperating just fine after a successful minor surgery.
Odinga’s family had earlier on said Baba underwent surgery for a nerve disorder on his foot.
“I had the opportunity to speak to my party leader and my father the Baba of the nation.” Hassan Joho said. “I feel happy and encouraged that he is progressing well. He has undergone a procedure.
Let us not forget that even our leaders are human beings. Sometimes they get sick and are treated.

Through his official Twitter handle, Raila Odinga echoed Joho’s sentiments and confirmed that he was indeed doing fine in Dubai, “I’m feeling great and let me thank everyone who sent me messages of goodwill. Asante, Asante, Asante Sana.” Baba’s tweet read.
Joho and Junet who are currently en route to bring back Raila Odinga in the country chartered a private plane that is bound to set them back a couple of million Kenyan shillings.
Apparently according to a private jet charter company, Paramount Business, the jet that Junet and Joho boarded usually charge cool KShs. 500,000 an hour. The vocal politicians have jetted the Airbus 318.
