Moses Kuria,the Gatundu South MP and NASA’s Johnson Muthama were today arrested for hatespeech.
The Jubilee Member of Parliament was arrested today and reportedly taken to Pangani police station to record statements.
This comes just few days after NCIC launched investigations over Moses Kuria’s hate speech remarks on his social media account and in a video that has now gone viral.
Kenyans have reacted with anger towards the Gatundu politician after his remarks.
Mr. Kuria was escorted by Police to DCI along Kiambu Road station.
Former Machakos senator Johnson Muthama was also arrested for questioning over claims of hate speech.
Mr Muthama was arrested in his Kangundo home and taken to the DCI offices along Kiambu Road before being transferred to the Nairobi County police headquarters.
