Love gone sour can produce some very disastrous results. From suicides to homicides to infanticides, people go crazy when they think/believe they are in love.
Woe unto you if you are the object of the affection and you aren’t interested. But this story is interesting because it isn’t about love but resources. You tie down a man in marriage, you tie down his finances.
A jilted lover attempted to disrupt her ex-husband’s wedding after she stormed the venue of the ceremony along Thika Superhighway in a bid to stop the event. The woman, who claimed that she is still married to the groom, caused a scene at St Benedict’s Catholic Church as she tried to enter the venue of the ceremony where her ex-husband was exchanging vows with his new bride.
The woman, who was identified as Catherine Mwaura, also claimed she has three children with the groom and that the new bride was stealing her husband. The groom who might have thought that his ex would attempt to stop the wedding hired more than 20 police officers to ensure his special day went uninterrupted.
Is she a jilted lover or does she have a righteous claim? If her story is true then it is very sad. Because 3 children may have to suffer because their father’s attentions will be elsewhere. Again: If her story is true!?
