Japesa can’t see a possible Octopizzo, Khaligraph Jones ever happening and seemingly he doesn’t want that to happen as well.

The Luo rapper has since established himself to be one of the neo-rappers to take over the Luo rap scene with authority.

Japesa was speaking with the self-titled, The Number 1 hypeman, DNG on television where he opened up saying that he is the new rapper everybody should take notice of especially in the rap scene.

“… it’s healthy[speaking about beef], it’s really healthy. Like I don’t imagine Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo doing a collabo.” he said, ” we need to argue like, Khali is the best, Octo is the best,”

Octopizzo turning down a collabo with him

The ‘Too Much Ice’ hitmaker who has worked with King Kaka on a song that will be a part of his mixtape also opened up on how Octopizzo turned down a collaboration with him.

“Ohanga hapendi watu, hata mi alikataa collabo,” Japesa said, “and I didn’t even request for it.”

Octopizzo is on record saying that he doesn’t do any songs with just anybody and for now he can’t do any collaboration with any African artiste, leave alone a Kenyan one.

Speaking at Switch TV last year, Octopizzo said that he is working on getting international collaborations since there’s nothing any other artiste in the country or in the African continent can do for him and he reiterated that he doesn’t just do a song with anybody so that he can harness the fans of the supposed artiste he collaborates with.

“… between now and 2021, we are considering at least three[international collaborations]” Octopizzo said.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
