Japesa has made sure that he is well taken care of, at least when he leaves this earth when it’s his time to do so.

The Luo rap king who has been dominating the entertainment and music scene with unprecedented fashion in the shortest time he’s been in the mainstream music scene has shocked a lot of people on social media with his recent photo that he shared online.

Japesa apparently made this move to make sure that his fans and Kenyans collectively won’t contribute money for his family to buy him a coffin when he dies.

“Bought myself a coffin ⚰️ just in case nikufe msisumbuliwe na till number(bought myself a coffin just in case I die you don’t get disturbed by till number),” Japesa shared on social media.

This gesture isn’t unprecedented in Africa but a sure one in the Kenyan entertainment scene.

A few years ago, celebrated multi-talented dancer Zodwa Wabantu bought herself a befitting coffin that matches her stature that she wants to be used for her body once she dies in the future.

Social media users, friends, and family have reached out to the rapper who has made a name for himself in the rap scene as one of the best Luo rappers in the country if not the best.

Japesa hasn’t shared anything else about what’s going on in her life or why he shared that post on social media but fans, family, friends are concerned all the same.

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
