The power of forgiveness sometimes makes you be the bigger person in a situation and that’s the route the Ugandan First Lady, Janet Museveni chose to take after educationalist Stella Nyanzi abused her and called her names.
” I was told that there is an educationist called Ms Nyanzi and she said so much about me, many people have been asking me: did you hear what this lady was talking about you; won’t you say nor do something?
I thank those people for their good will and concern. I do not know what wrong I committed to deserve that kind of language and abuses from Ms Nyanzi. This so much anger and hatred is not good, I choose to forgive her” – Janet Museveni
