Radio personality-cum-comedian Felix Odiwour, commonly known as Jalang’o , was exposed for cheating with multiple women in January 2020.
Blogger Edgar Obare published chats from a WhatsApp chat group called Boys Club of which Jalang’o is a member alongside several of his friends.
In the group, the members discussed sexual escapades, oftentimes even sharing full photos of the women they slept with.
According to the information that Edgar shared on social media, Jalang’o and his boys were sleeping with women from all walks of life, mostly with women from Nairobi despite most of the members of the aforementioned group being married, including Jalang’o himself.
Jalang’o breaks silence says he won’t sue Edgar Obare for defamation
A year after the cheating scandal, Jalang’o has come out to speak on the lessons learnt.
The Kiss FM presenter says he lost close friends and clients after he was exposed by Obare.
Speaking during the morning Kiss, Jalang’o said only his mother and wife stood by him as other people didn’t want to be associated with him.
“Some clients pulled out and said they do not want to be associated with me. It got me to a corner and I said you know what, Heavy J, this is your moment either to come back or kill your career. I said you know what, I did not come this far to lose,” said Jalang’o.
Jalang’o said that very moment would have been the end of his career but he pulled through.
“It is a test that I went through that almost killed my career.”
