Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o dumped Azimio leader Raila Odinga for President William Ruto, a few months after he was elected on the ODM party ticket.
Raila said Jalang’o was a traitor after he crossed over to the Ruto-led UDA camp.
The Lang’ata MP however has no regret for betraying Raila. Jalang’o explained his decision while speaking in an online interview.
He claimed that he wanted to be closer to Ruto because he knows how to win elections.
“I went to Ruto for advice on how to win elections. You know the President has never ever lost in an election so there is a lot to learn from him because he always wins whether he does it by stealing or any other means.
I am now picking useful tips with the aim of becoming the first person from my community to become the President of Kenya.
One day you will remember me as that young man from Gem constituency who became the President of Kenya,” Jalang’o said in an online interview.
Jalang’o was fully embraced in the UDA camp after he was denied access to the Azimio PG on suspicion that he was spying for UDA after he met Ruto ar State House earlier on.
