J Blessing who is a renowned videographer who has helped shaped the Kenyan entertainment scene as we know it today took his sweet time to give thanks to the celebrated musician cum record producer R Kay real name Robert Kamanzi Simenya.
It’s no secret that Jibril Blessing went through troubling times a couple of years ago and even hit rock bottom physically and emotionally when he lost his beautiful son that he had together with the then musician cum actor, Chantel of the ‘Tokelezea’ hit record.
Even though he was going through a lot, there wasn’t a lot of “friends” in his corner to help him out when he was going through trying times in his life.
One person was on his corner though to help give him the help that he needed so much.
The person who came out to help him was none other than R Kay who also answers to his nickname Mwana Buja.
J Blessing is and will forever be grateful for R Kay coming to his aid when he was down both emotionally and financially.
Thanks to a subtle tell-all on social media, R Kay was appreciated by the now super successful, multi-talented J Blessing by thanking him for not only being his mentor but for paying all the needed bills for his late son and so much more that he has done for him over the years.
“Today I would like to celebrate you, sir, Robert Kamanzi” J Blessings said. “Thank you for mentoring me and even standing with me when I lost my son, you literally paid almost all the bill and stood by my side and you told me it’s okay son, God will make a way.”
“Appreciate everyone since they are a recapitulation of our creator, do not hate anyone, you can be free to have a dispute with their character but not them. It is a medicine to your happy daily life.”
J Blessing went on to pledge his undying loyalty to R Kay for everything he has done for him. Blessing reiterated how much love and respect he has for R Kay for being more than a mentor and a friend but also for being someone that he can always look up to.
“I want you to know that I truly love and respect you from the depth of my soul to my feeble steps.”
Prior to J Blessing’s subtle tell-all, nobody knew what R Kay had done for him, and clearly Robert Kamanzi who is one of the most respected record producers across the East African region is not known for blowing his own horn. He remains humble even after doing somewhat a lot to J Blessings.
