Oksyde is one bonafide rapper in the hip hop game and a versatile one at that. The ‘Toka Teke’ hit maker is one heck of a trapper too and we can’t argue that but you can definitely take that to the bank any day from today.
Oksyde has come from far, I know it sounds somewhat cliché but it’s the honest truth, he started off with the likes of Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo back in the day rapping for free and rapping in front of other rappers at WAPI in Ngara and participating in rap battles almost everywhere in the country, so yes, he has been in the industry for a minute.
The ChiefRocker himself has acknowledged that indeed he has come from far and though his come up has been kind of slow, his time is now and he intends to make no apologies in that one bit, he wants to capitalize in everything he is doing musically as he is a prolific trapper and rapper and that’s a combination that most rap artistes can’t crack and we all know trap is the in-thing today.
