He came, he saw, and he was absolutely mobbed.

iShowSpeed, the high-energy American streaming phenomenon, has officially declared his love for Kenya, promising his “Speed Gang” followers that a return to the East African nation is a certainty.

Speaking to his massive global audience on Monday, February 23, 2026, the YouTuber reflected on the “crazy” energy of Nairobi that redefined his career.

Recalling the moment he smashed personal records, Speed described his time in the capital as a turning point in his 28-day “Speed Does Africa” tour.

“I want to gather that Kenyan moment again—360,000 subscribers, which was crazy. Kenya showed me so much love, and I really love Kenya,” Speed told his viewers.

“Habari yako to all my Kenyan fans, I love you, and I will be 100 per cent back in Kenya.”

The streamer’s January visit was nothing short of a digital explosion. According to reports, over 30,000 fans flooded the Nairobi CBD and Lang’ata Road just to catch a glimpse of the star.

The surge was so intense that Ipsos later reported the visit generated a staggering 93.1 billion potential online impressions in just three days.

From feeding lions at the Nairobi National Park to naming a baby rhino “Rhinaldo” after his idol Cristiano Ronaldo, Speed’s itinerary captured the world’s attention.

However, it wasn’t all smooth sailing; one crew member was reportedly hospitalised with a spinal injury after a high-octane rally car stunt went wrong.

Speed’s reflections come as he nears the end of his ambitious continental tour. After leaving Kenya, where he was personally welcomed by President William Ruto, the creator traveled to Egypt to stream from the Giza Pyramids before heading into the Sahara Desert.

Despite the dramatic changes in scenery, the “Nairobi fever” clearly hasn’t left him. With his YouTube channel now well past the 48 million subscriber mark, Speed insists that Kenya remains the “benchmark” for his entire journey.

For the thousands of young Kenyans who chased his convoy through the streets, the countdown to his “100 per cent” return has officially begun.
