Instagram is the new cool and somewhat new way of making money for celebrities in the world with Ronaldo being the most expensive celebrity to charge per post on Instagram page.

With the emergence of social media and social media marketing, most publishers, businesses are using it as a way of advertising and they love it.

Some have dubbed it Instagram Market, let me break it down for you;

Instagram Market

Instagram market day is not new to those in the business realm.

The most interesting part of all this is that not every celebrity is charging to market for businesses, some celebrities see it as a form of giving back to their fans who they believe have supported them over the years.

How does it work?

First, it runs on Instagram live where the advert runs for 24 hours, and then it is automatically pulled down.

Vivian Ke is the first celebrity to offer to advertise for free on her Instagram page for Individuals and business owners who she believes have and still are her loyal fans.

Celebrated Classic FM Radio presenter Maina Kageni is one of the celebrities charging huge amounts of up to 50k for Instagram ads.

Why are companies paying celebrities for these adverts?

The idea behind these Instagram adverts is that Popular Celebrities often generate a lot of attention and following.

They are believed by their followers to advertise products and services they are most likely to use.

The primary reason why celebrities offer these services is not only to get extra cash but also to help grow small and medium enterprises that may not have the financial muscles to advertise on mainstream media.
