Inspekta Mwala actor Abdi Munai popularly known Munai General survived a road accident that saw him undergo five surgeries, and left him with a huge hospital bill.
Munai was involved in a road accident Murang’a Road, the actor-cum-comedian said that the accident happened after a tyre burst which caused the vehicle to overturn.
The Citizen TV actor sustained multiple injuries, he was however lucky because he didn’t suffer any internal injuries.
“I was on my way home when the front tyre burst and our vehicle overturned. Luckily I did not get any fractures but I had several injuries. Doctors performed a number of tests to ensure there were no internal injuries but I had to undergo grafting since I had several scratches on my skin,” said Munai.
Munai underwent five surgeries at the Aga Khan University Hospital, which pushed his hospital bills to a staggering Ksh 2.5 million.
The comedian said his medical cover catered for Ksh 1 million while the remaining amount was footed by his employers.
Munai is currently recuperating at home, he posted a handful of videos on social media to talk about his accident and also thank his fans for prayers.
