Many know Amani from way back in the day from her numerous hits like ‘Bad Boy’ which she featured one half of the rap trio Kleptomaniacs a.k.a Klepto, Nyashinski and many other songs that made the number 1 spot in most of our local radio and TV stations.
She has many accolades under her belt but if you ask me the number 1 accolade she ever had was the performance she did with the American RnB star, R.Kelly a while back in 2010 in the song ‘Hands Across the World’. Though the song was not exclusively between the two, the song was a masterpiece and Amani’s vocals did the song justice. The artistes that were involved in the song were; R. Kelly, Amani, 2 Face Idibia, 4×4,Ali Kiba, Fally Ipupa and JK.
Coming back to 2015…
Though she has not been in the music industry for a while now, she made a huge come back when she released her new song ‘HeartBreaker’ that made us feel as if she never left the game to begin with, this song is a clear testimony that Amani is a relevant artiste that is here to stay for good.
