IEBC’s Roselyn Akombe was delayed from travelling to the US by the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport(JKIA) officials.
She was cleared to travel this morning.

Roselyn Akombe was removed from her plane and blocked from travelling to US. IEBC says Government officials involved have apologised.
Dr Akombe who has a dual citizenship of Kenya and USA caused an online uproar where many thought that she was blocked to travel to the USA because she was allegedly going to spill the beans of how the elections went down according to proven reports and that it took the intervention of the US Embassy for Akombe to be released from police custody and be transferred to the government pavilion at JKIA.
IEBC via its Twitter handle has explained what happened.
Dr Akombe who is traveling to US for an official meeting was delayed at JKIA by officials who have since apologized. She returns on Sunday.
