Celebrated actor, Idris Elba has tested positive for coronavirus, Covid-19.

Elba opened up on social media said that he had been in contact with someone who had earlier tested positive for the deadly novel pandemic disease.

Idris who follows Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson as the celebrities who have tested positive for coronavirus immediately quarantined himself after that encounter.

Idris Elba hasn’t revealed who exposed him to the virus.

The wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has also tested positive was on the same event that the 47-year-old Idris Elba had attended last week, the WE Day 2020 in London.

“This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus.” Idris Elba said, “Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing 👊🏾👊🏾 No panic.”
