AKA has finally opened up about the sudden death of his fiancé Anele “Nelli” Tembe who passed away a couple of days ago.
Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, known professionally as AKA was irreconcilable after the loss of his fiancé who had reportedly paid lobola for.
The entire African entertainment scene was sombre after the news was confirmed by Nelli Tembe’s family about her death.
Through it all, AKA didn’t share and/or say anything to address his fans who were keen on finding out how he is doing after the death of his fiancé Tembe.
They had intended to have one of the grandest celebrity weddings Africa has ever seen yet.
Taking to social media, AKA poured his heart out about how he’s feeling about the death of Anele “Nelli” Tembe, someone he refers to as the true love of his life.

AKA has entrusted his able team to take care and handle his affairs in the public domain, including all of his social media as he takes time to heal.
Opening up for the very first since the death of his fiancé, he shared his official statement on April 23, 2021.
“I have lost the love of my life… and every day feels like a mountain to climb. I miss Anele, so much, and I’m heartbroken at the unfulfilled life we had planned together.
The tragic loss of Anele has taken a great toll on me, emotionally and psychologically, Insinuations and innuendos made on my personhood have made it even more difficult to process and the strain our families have taken is unspeakable -which is why at this time I choose to retreat to honor my journey, praying that the moments of stillness may bring me closer to some clarity.
I wish to convey my gratitude to all the people who have supported me during this difficult time in my life, my mom Lynn and dad Tony, Bab’ Moses and Ndabezitha, my brother Steffan, my family (both Forbes and Tembe), my heartfelt gratitude to you all.
To my business associates, political leaders, industry peers and elders, friends, and my neighbors, thank you for rallying around me.
Last but not least, to my incredibly loyal fans, the MEGACY, your collective love and support has brought me much comfort.
As we undergo this painful journey, I have entrusted my team to handle all of my affairs in the public domain, including all my social media platforms.
