Willy Paul has come forth to call out the music industry cartels who apparently needs artistes to do everything including their bidding for an artiste to be as successful as they want to be, fail to do what they want, they will allegedly make your life as an artiste miserable, very miserable.
“I am here to stay coz the love and the amount of work is real.
Taking to social media, Willy Paul took time to call out the music industry cartel without exposing their names calling other artistes to stand up and stand their ground so that the next generation won’t have to go through what they are going through right now as artistes.
“…ever wondered why some of ur favourite artists are not in some events that’s you’d expect them to be in? it’s because in Kenya if dont dance to a cartel’s tune then you are an enemy.” he said in part.
The ‘Jigi Jigi’ hitmaker went on to add;
” if you act like you know ur worth ur an enemy, if you keep ur brand high ur an enemy, if you release hits ur an enemy, if you they call you for a deal and you don’t give them a cut you are an enemy, and they’ll end up giving that space to someone who doesn’t deserve it.. this is so sad.”
Willy Paul has made it clear that he is not going to dance to the tune of the unnamed music industry cartel because the love he is getting from his fans is way too much to be ignored even if anybody wants to ignore.
