Brian Obuya, an investigative reporter for Nation Media Group’s NTV, was reportedly and allegedly arrested last night after he was found in a woman’s home by her husband in Nairobi’s Kasarani estate.
Mr. Brian Obuya is currently being held inside one of the jail cells at the police station as his coworkers and friends attempt to free him.
It’s not clear what Brian was investigating and for how long the investigation has been going on at the married man’s house.
The homeowner has reportedly insisted that the journalist must be prosecuted for violating and trespassing his property.
In October 2021, Obuya switched from KTN to NTV after abruptly leaving the Standard Media Group.
The drama reportedly unfolded on Wednesday about two in the morning.
Since the complainant has insisted that the journalist goes to court, Brian is still confined in cells waiting for whatever will happen, happens.
