Huddah Monroe is actually a bigger person than most people give her credit for.
Huddah Monroe just proved that she doesn’t scare from admitting that she’s wrong and most certainly isn’t afraid to ask for an apology if she’s hurt someone with her comments and/or actions.
The businesswoman who usually gets attention whenever she says anything sensitive or says something everybody is afraid of just admitted she was wrong for body-shaming fellow women.
She did this after renowned vlogger, content creator Yummy Mummy real name Joan Obwaka Munyi called her out after reviewing her Huddah Cosmetics product on social media.
“PR package from a brand I love and hate at the same time. Love cause the products are amazing, one of the best affordable local makeup available” said Yummy Mummy in her Instagram stories.
“Hate cause Huddah openly fat shames and said she doesn’t care if fat people never use her products. In her words, we should all just go to the gym and lose some weight sooo.
but bado nitazitumia tu because it addicted to makeup” she added.
Huddah Monroe taking notice of this, was rather quick to reply to Yummy Mummy’s sentiments saying how sorry she is for being inconsiderate in body-shaming women a couple of years ago reiterating that she’s never a person known for hating on others and loves everybody equally despite age, body type, gender, age, skin color, sexual orientation.
The Huddah Cosmetics founder and CEO is so sorry for the sentiments she’s once said that have hurt a lot of people on social media without her even knowing it.
“Darling. First off, I want to say thanks for accepting our PR gift pack and for the positive reviews you always give out products.” Huddah Monroe responded to Yummy Mummy.
She went on to add;
“Second, I’m truly sorry for asking inconsiderate questions on body types several years ago and apologize to anyone I hurt. If you knew me personally you’ll definitely know, I am never that type of person to hate on anyone. Especially not on body as mine will surely not be this way forever. I love everyone equally.
But thanks to that, I used that experience to grow, helping others to understand how some statements are completely unacceptable as you never know who you hurt here on social media.”
She’s since grown, she sincerely apologized to anyone she’s hurt by her words and she’s now rather sensitive to everyone’s feelings in everything she says on social media.
Huddah Monroe went on to claim that she’s the most misunderstood person in Africa because a lot of the stuff she usually says on social media or do are usually misinterpreted or misconstrued intentionally to make her look bad and portray her to be a bad person.

She went further to clarify that she isn’t responsible for how people chose to interpret and/or translate what she talks about.
“It’s so sad that I’m the most misunderstood person on African media. Everything I say or do is taken out of context. People and media always want me to look like I have a problem with everyone.
Hating on everyone. And that I’m purely heartless.” She explained herself on Instagram.
She went on further to add;
“I’m responsible for what I post but I am not responsible for how anyone chooses to Translate it or understand it because we have freedom of speech.
I’ll never play VICTIM. I am VICTOR! But today, I humbly apologize to anyone who felt or still feels hurt by anything I said years ago, 2 days or today. I am striving to do better as a person and daily trying to choose my words carefully.
I assure you, you simply took it the wrong way because the gutter press, media, and haters want you to see it that way. Get to know me before you judge me. Or ask around and you’ll be surprised, I’m the most humble, shy person alive. LET’S NOT DWELL ON NEGATIVITY!”
