Doreen Moraa has never been shy to tell people that she is HIV positive. The HIV activist has been living with the virus since 1992.
Moraa publicly reveals her HIV status in a bid to end the stigma associated with the virus.
She was born to an HIV discordant couple, her mother being HIV positive while her father is HIV negative.
The bold vicenarian first went public about her HIV status in 2015 through a Facebook post, many people didn’t believe she was HIV positive when she made the announcement.

The HIV ambassador loves to give inspirational talks to those living with the virus. She talks and inspires people through her story.
She encourages people to go for testing and adhere to medication to suppress the virus in most of her posts on social media.
In a recent post on Instagram, Moraa said that it was a miracle she has lived to see 2020.
The 28-year-old HIV activist says her parents were so sure she would not live to see 2020 when she was born.
“When my parents took me home from Kenyatta National Hospital 20 years ago,one of the things they were sure about was that I would not be alive in 2020. But whomst is God☺️☺️☺️I am Still here,Still going Strong💪Still a beautiful story and Still Greater than HIV. Don’t give up because of a HIV diagnosis,” wrote Doreen Moraa.
