The annual Nyege Nyege International Music Festival marked its fifth anniversary in September this year, several international musicians performed at the four-day ( from September 5 to 8th) music extravaganza.
For starters, Nyege Nyege Festival is arguably the most popular music event in East Africa, drawing revelers from all over the world. The festival was started in 2015 and has since became one of the most important events in music calendar.
Nazizi was among Kenyan musicians who performed at the Nyege Nyege festival that was held at Moley Resort on the shores of the River Nile.

Fast-rising star Zzero Sufuri was also set to perform at Nyege Nyege festival but he clashed with concert organizers over performance fee.
Speaking during an interview with Word is, Zzero Sufuri revealed that money was the big issue that made him fail to perform at the annual music festival.
“I’m sorry to all my fans but I can only say that the organisers hawakufika bei,” said Zzero Sufuri without revealing how much he was offered to perform.
Zzero Sufuri shot to fame in April 2019 when he dropped his hit song ‘Zimenishika’. The song has garnered 1.8 million views on YouTube.
