Harmonize prematurely terminated his contract with Diamond Platnumz’s Wasafi record label in September this year and went on to start his own label dubbed Konde Gang.
The celebrated Bongo star was not happy with his 15-year contract with Wasafi because a big percentage of his earning was going to the label.
Harmonize was the first artiste to be signed by Wasafi records about four years ago when the label was in its infancy. The ‘Kwangaru’ hit maker was the second highest grossing artiste after Diamond at Wasafi.
The singer’s exit from Wasafi was so dramatic, he was required to pay a whopping Tsh 500 million/Ksh 22.5 million to terminate his contract with Wasafi before expiry.

Harmonize was so bitter with Wasafi management that he decided to unfollow all of them on social media. A check on the singer’s followers on Instagram shows he no longer follows Diamond or any other Wasafi artistes.
Wasafi top boss Sallam SK Mendez confirmed that Harmonize had blocked him on social media. The manager joked about Harmonize blocking him saying that he still has the keys even if the singer had blocked him.
