Tanzanian music star Harmonize has given his fans an unexpected festive gift, announcing he will drop a massive bundle of six new songs on Christmas Day—a spectacular apology for the lengthy delay of his anticipated third studio album, Paula.

The ‘Kidedea’ hitmaker, whose real name is Rajab Abdul Kahali, shared the exciting news on his Instagram on Sunday, December 14, 2025, thrilling his global fanbase who have been patiently waiting for the full album project.

“I will be dropping six songs on December 25 as a gift, and also as an apology for the delay of my third album, Paula,” the artist wrote, offering a list of tracks that included fan favourites such as Bedroom, Outside, Falling in Love, Zanzibar, Me Too, Lala, Side Niger, Influencer, Miss Bantu, and Single Again.

While the announcement of the Christmas six-pack was cause for celebration, the star simultaneously delivered a stern warning to fans regarding his musical output in the coming year.

Harmonize stated that beginning in 2026, he will dramatically slow down the frequency of his releases, choosing to prioritize artistic depth and international competitiveness over simply churning out hits.

“Do not expect many hit songs from me starting in 2026. I am more focused on quality and standards. I cannot keep doing the same thing every day,” he announced.

The singer suggested he is poised to cross a major creative threshold, pushing his sound to a higher, more evolved level.

He threw shade at his contemporaries, particularly those who he believes rely too heavily on their mother tongue.

“There is a line I am about to cross, and I am almost there. Maybe someone from Gen Z might cross it first, but for this generation that is still singing only in their mother tongue, there is still a long way to go,” he declared.

The star finished his post by demanding respect for his musical legacy, asserting his dominance in the Swahili music genre.

“Put some respect on my name. Do not place me under anyone, not even by mistake, especially in Swahili music,” he concluded, making it clear that his commitment to quality means he will no longer be competing on quantity.
