Rajab Kahali, popularly known as Harmonize, the boss of Konde Music Worldwide, has revealed his ambitious dreams for life after music.
The renowned Tanzanian artist, who recently celebrated his 30th birthday, shared his vision of becoming a doctor once his musical career winds down.
Harmonize, who has been a dominant force in the East African music scene, acknowledged that he cannot perform on stage forever.
He expressed a desire to pivot to a career in medicine, aiming to start his medical studies between the ages of 45 and 50.
“I have come to the point that in the future, if my musical works are getting less old, when I am maybe old, maybe if God brings us to 45-50 years, I will think about studying medicine. At least for a year then I should be working at the hospital even for a week to save people’s lives, to help people,” Harmonize shared.
This ambitious plan underscores his desire not only to continue helping people but also to bring smiles to their faces through his new profession.
Harmonize, who has openly discussed his limited formal education—admitting he only completed seventh grade—believes that his dedication and hard work can help him achieve this noble goal.
The musician recently shared his pride in his self-taught English skills, marking a significant personal achievement.
Speaking during a promotional event before his performance at an event held towards the end of June 2024, Harmonize opened up about his educational background and his journey to mastering English.
He candidly admitted that he was educated only up to the seventh grade and has never sought formal education in English.
Instead, he credited his progress to his own determination and the courage to practice speaking publicly.
