Boniface Mwangi under fire over his statements on Mombasa Governor Joho
Boniface Mwangi has been called out by hairstylists in the country for calling Mombasa Governor, Joho a hairstylist who isn’t fit to be the President.
Twitter has been talking about him since this morning with the hashtag: #ShameonyouBoniface
In the video that seems to have irked a lot of hairdressers in the country, Boniface Mwangi likened the Mombasa Governor, Hassan Ali Joho to a hairdresser who isn’t fit to lead the country.
Boniface Mwangi laughs off Hassan Joho becoming the next President of Kenya
“This man was elected to represent Mombasa people lakini kazi yake ni kurandaranda na wasichana wadogo Mombasa, nikupiga story venye anamek doh Mombasa, amesahau kazi yake and then he wants to become President[Boniface Mwangi hysterically laughs].
Maybe akuwe Mvuvi ama akuwe hairdresser president wa wapi? who is going to elect him as president? wewe imagine unachagua hairdresser for your president.” he said in part on his now-viral clip where he also equates Joho with fishermen.
This statement doesn’t sit well with a lot of hairdressers in the country and a lot of them want the human rights activist, and Ukweli party leader to issue a public apology for his statements.
There has been a public call out to all barbers and hairdressers in the country urging them not to shave Boniface Mwangi until he apologizes to all hairdressers.
Hairdressers are not happy with his statement that a hairdresser cannot be the President of this nation.
Huyu Boniface Mwangi anajiona na kujitambua sana, to extent of kudharau kitega uchumi cha wengine, does he really know how many Kenyans rely on hairdressing. Can he imagine of how we can look without shaving our hair. He should apologize immediately #shameonyouboniface pic.twitter.com/K93Jm1W5bM
