Habida has been in the face of Kenyan music for so long which has seen her get recognized as one of the household names in the music industry and she has been consistent over the years working with Cannibal and Nameless to release unforgettable songs.
The musician who had the honor and privilege of performing at the launch of the very first NBA Africa took time to celebrate her late father, Mr. Moloney who was everything to her.
Her father who she loved to death and described him as being her mentor and her heart left this earth five years ago and Habida still can’t find the strength that her father, mentor, friend, and heart left her.
Taking to social media, Habida who shared a photo of herself together with her Caucasian father said that he had the strength to recognize that he is finally gone.
“Today over half a decade ago you left this world. Today I have the strength to recognize you are gone and I have the strength to cry for you. #MrMoloney my father, my mentor, my heart. RIP” she wrote on social media.
Habida who is married and has two wonderful children still misses her dad to this day, her love for her dad clearly can’t be and won’t be replaced by anyone since she was a daddy’s girl.
