Guardian Angel has finally won the coveted Groove Awards trophy after a long time without winning anything.
Guardian Angel won the award beating other nominees like; Eko Dydda, Gloria Muliro, Mercy Masika, Recapp and Moji Shortbabaa.
“pokea sifa, Bwana, manukato ya sifa ni yako” he sang these words as his acceptance speech.
Guardian Angel took this year with a storm with hit songs like; ‘Nadeka’ and ‘Wakati Wa Mungu’ with Paul Clement and many would agree that he deserved this year’s award which used to be synonymous to Willy Paul and Bahati.
“May the name of God be glorified, Amen” he concluded his speech.
