Gracious Amani caught the attention of netizens when a video of her singing to Alicia Key’s ‘Girl on Fire’ in Githurai went viral on Facebook and everyone talked about her everywhere.
She managed to go on TV an as it turned out, she is the daughter to the famous Luo musician and record producer Wuod Fibi who is known for his ‘Kula Kwa Macho’ hit record which he translated to his Swahili fans as the song was originally written in Dholuo dubbed ‘Cham Gi Wang’i’.
So apparently American singer, Alicia Keys got a hold of the video of the young Gracious Amani singing her soul out, singing her song and she loved what she saw and decided to share the viral clip of Gracious Amani on her social media platforms captioning, “Look at this beautiful soul!! SHINE!!!!🌟🌟🌟😍😍😍”
Gracious is currently under the able hands of musician Vivian who is already working on a single with her and her husband and manage, Sam west confirmed this by a statement he put recently, “They are recording a song together then they will shoot a video for the same. The girl has shown interest in music and Vivian is more than willing to mentor her through her musical career.”
Gracious Amani said music has always been a part of it and after she finished school, she wouldn’t mind to embark on music as a career and with her father already a household name in the music industry, the sky is the stepping stone.
