Former Kass FM journalist Joshua arap Sang has declared that he would be in the Trans Nzoia gubernatorial race in 2017.
Sang said he had what it takes to take over the seat from Governor Patrick Khaemba.
The journalist, in April, had hinted that he would join politics following the termination of cases against him at the ICC.
Former International Criminal Court (ICC) suspect Joshua Sang has finally made a decision on which political seat to go for in 2017.
Joshua Sang, on Saturday, July 2, said he would be in the Trans Nzoia gubernatorial race.
“My decision follows consultations with local elders and residents of this county… I believe I have what it takes to steer the county to great heights of development,” said Joshua Sang as quoted by The Standard.
Joshua Sang was speaking at AIC Kipkeikei High School during an event that was attended by Deputy President William Ruto.
