Veteran rapper Glasses Malone, a well respected rapper got the entire internet ablaze when he said that Snoop Dogg is the greatest rapper of all time and not 2Pac as many hip hop heads globally believes.
Having a sit-down interview at the Breakfast Club, together with Charlamagne tha God and DJ Envy, Glasses Malone gave out his reasons why he believes Snoop Dogg is the greatest rapper of all time, period.
“Let’s be honest, who is the n*gga in the rap game?” Glasses Malone posed the rhetoric question as he waited for Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy to respond, “period, all the way from 1993 when the album dropped (referring to ‘Doggystyle’ which is Snoop Dogg’s debut album that was released back in 23rd November 1993)” he continued. “to 1995 there was no bigger rapper than Snoop Dogg” he added.
Glasses Malone who recently released his controversial record dubbed ‘2Pac Must Die’ together with the visuals of the same on YouTube believes that Snoop Dogg was and still is the greatest rapper of all time who sold a lot of records back in the day that even inspired the legendary rapper, Notorious B.I.G to write a record in his honor about how Snoop Dogg used to sell records.

“Snoop, was rap, Big came out trying to sell records like Snoop, that’s a bar (referring to Notorious B.I.G’s ‘Somebody’s Gotta Die’ record where he raps that he wants to sell records like Snoop) It’s Snoop, Snoop is rap music. Snoop is the greatest rapper of all time, not if he the best, not if he’s this, he’s the greatest, like Snoop can go to any mall in America and they gon’ know. White lady 80 or little kid 8 gon’ know Snoop Dogg”.
“I’m sittin’ in the crib dreamin’ about Leer jets and coupes
The way Salt shoops and how they sell records like Snoop
Oops! I’m interrupted by a doorbell” ~ an excerpt of Notorious B.I.G’s verse off his ‘Somebody’s Gotta Die’ hit record.
According to Snoop Dogg who opened up on a sit down interview with Sway Calloway at the Sway In The Morning Show a couple years ago, the record was played to him by Notorious B.I.G before it was officially put out which even took Snoop Dogg by surprise. Snoop Dogg(then known as Snoop Lion) went on to admit that him together with Notorious B.I.G shared massive love for each other despite what was going on in the rap music at the moment.
