Eliud Sagini Ang’asa, Alias Sagini, was a Kenyan R&B/Afro-pop singer and Media Influencer. Sagini passed away arriving in hospital on 17th December 2018 after suffering from an illness.

Sagini was 23 years old when he passed on a few days ago but it’s clear his music will live forever.

His journey as an artiste began at a young age, listening to a wide range of music. He found a particular interest and niche in the RnB and Afro-pop Genre of which he pursued with zeal.

Sagini’s style and vocal range was unique and solid, his flow and themes were flexible. He cut across the complexity of most genres, and his music attests to this. His influence on the current Kenyan RnB, and Afro-pop seen cannot go unnoticed.

He was becoming the icon of his type of music not only in Kenya, but in the larger East African region.

Having worked with the likes of Khaligraph Jones, Young Killa from Tanzania and various aspiring artistes he commanded heavy attention, respect and an even greater following.

His debut single ‘Ki2 Ingine’ done under Blu Ink Corp Record label, is a song about a guy who is in love with a woman but he isn’t sure if it’s because he’s just intoxicated or not.

He also featured in hit singles such ‘’NATAKA IYO DOH by Khaligraph Jones, ‘RIDER’ by Khaligraph Jones, ‘MAT ZA RONGA Remix’ by Tunji and Khaligraph Jones with, ‘SHOTS’ Khaligraph Jones and Young Killa from Tanzania.

He was working on an album under Khaligraph Jones’ record label Bluink Corp. Sagini left Blu Ink Corp mid year 2018.  

Sagini has an album at his new home Alka Productions Studios which shall be released in his remembrance.
