Gengetone Festival was one of the many festivals that the youth in the country was looking forward to attending.
The festival was to see Jua Cali, Sailors, Ethic, Zzero Sufuri, Shay Diva, Ochunglo Family, Boondock Gang, and so many other established Gengetone artistes perform for fans on 10th April 2020 at Machakos People’s Park in Machakos County.

Due to the uncertainty of the now pandemic, novel Coronavirus, COVID-19 that has since claimed lives of over 10,000 lives globally, the Gengetone Festival has been postponed following the government’s directive to ban all social gatherings.

“This is in line with the government directive about public events in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and the interest of prioritizing everyone’s safety.”

As the tickets that have been sold for this event are non-refundable, ticket-holders are urged to keep them so that they will be honored when the event is held.
