Raila Odinga is not a happy man, as President Ruto’s leadership is concerned.
As the Kenya Kwanza regime 100 days in office end, the Azimio La Umoja leader says, Kenyans have moved from hustlers to sufferers.
In a long report Raila Odinga says;
The speeches, actions, and policy failures during the first 100 days of the Kenya Kwanza administration have revealed a concerning trend line across the board. There is already a recurring pattern emerging.
The Kenya Kwanza regime’s disrespect for the Kenyan Constitution and laws, its disregard for democracy and its institutions, its blatant violation of Chapter Six of the Constitution on Leadership and Integrity, its intoleranceand speed with which it has trampled on the rule of law.
Its haste to crush the political opposition and stifle political opposition, its blatant repression of the free press, and its overt attempt to kill devolution are the key takeaways at this early stage.
These actions have all been carried out without even the slightest attempt to conceal the dictator’s influence.
The two main foundations of Kenya’s democracy, the IEBC and the Judiciary, have been swiftly taken over by the state to finish it all off. What is striking is that the state has completely failed to provide the people with relief from poverty while adopting all of these evil actions.
The Kenya Kwanza government has been tone deaf to the financial plight of the majority of Kenyans, as evidenced by its expensive and extravagant foreign trips with thousands upon thousands of cronies, heavy and un-affordable borrowing, the skyrocketing prices of basic necessities, and the elimination of necessary subsidies that provided relief to the most vulnerable.
Kenyans could be in for rude shock for a prolonged amount of time. They might suffer from extreme poverty and oppression if the first 100 days of the Kenya Kwanza administration are any indication, so long as nothing is done to reverse the trend.
