The official music video for ‘Stella Wangu’ remix came to fruition thanks to one Engineer Njau Njoka, who oversaw the audition process to get the right cast and also funded the project with the aim of reintroducing Mwamburi into the music scenes, empowering him to continue with his music career.

The musician who was born and raised on the slopes of Kilimanjaro in Wundanyi in Taita burst into the Kenyan music scene officially in 1980 and had since had a successful music career spanning over four decades.
The hit song Stella Wangu thrust the singer –who cites Franklin Boukaka as his musical influencer– into the national limelight and enabled him to extensively travel and perform across Kenya, Uganda & Tanzania in the 90’s.
