A Francis Atwoli road post has been vandalized again this time, only this time around it has been burned with a pile of tires.

This isn’t the first time the COTU-Secretary General Francis Atwoli’s road post has been vandalized.

There are some pictures making rounds on the internet that shows the Road post before it was burned down.

The pictures show the Francis Atwoli road post with a pile of tires doused with petrol before a hand spotted on the right-hand side of the picture lights up a duster drench with petrol and using it to burn down the road post.

This was done last night when nobody was around to see or guard the post since this is the second time it has been vandalized.

Here are the photos:

The vandalism comes a few hours after the COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli re-elected for a record fourth time as a Member of the International Labour Organization Governing Body in Geneva, Switzerland.

Netizens condemning the vandalism

“Kenya has bigger problems in Corruption, Unemployment, Collapsed Agriculture, COVID-19 et al, but one does nothing but plan how to lynch Francis Atwoli Road post with a pile of tires… Such a Pyromaniac in real life, must be a cowardly Sociopath & Psychopath.

If he was a courageous man, he will go to the High Court & get files of those found guilty of corruption or stealing and go burn their houses and cars! But because he is a coward, he gets voyeuristic excitement in burning a sign post!” renowned flamboyant city Lawyer Donald B. Kipkorir said on Twitter.

“Francis Atwoli was re-elected to the International Labour Organization in Geneva for a record fourth time. We ignored this but we remembered to burn down a road signage named after him. A day will come when we will be scrambling for space to name even a few of his achievements” Abraham Mutai shared his sentiments as well.

“Francis Atwoli finally learns that there are Kenyans with low tolerance levels to mediocrity. To others of similar mindset as Atwoli, “MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN”. ^DoS” Nelso Havi shared on his official Twitter account.

“Kenyans should stop this Bitterness Vice, all because of bad leadership, yet we are so primitive when it comes to voting! ..Hating Uhuru, Hating Ruto and even Francis Atwoli won’t change anything! … Ikifika 2022, vote wisely! Kwani ni kesho” Warui John said.
