Francis Atwoli among 6 politicians involved in Cyrus Jirongo’s 131 Million saga

Cyrus Jirongo is being investigated by the EACC. COTU SG, Mr. Francis Atwoli is among the 6 politicians who reportedly received money from the 131 Million saga, now under investigations.

 

Politician Cyrus Jirongo is back in the news again and for payment received from questionable land dealings. With six other politicians, they are accused of receiving a clandestine payments of up to 131 Million whose sources remain mysterious.

Mr Jirongo reportedly received money from City Hall for a controversial piece of land, located in Mukuru kwa Reuben, Nairobi. The 250 Million seems like an alleged trick payment for land already owned by the county government.

Cyrus Jirongo allegedly sent 131 Million in total to six individuals, all public figures.

These huge amounts raised eyebrows and investigators are looking into the shady deals involved from which the money was paid.

The people who received money including Jirongo himself are:

David Murathe, 25 Million.

Francis Atwoli, the COTU Secretary General, 60 Million.

Albino Aboug, Pan-African Parliament MP(South Sudan), 38 Million.

George Khaniri, former Vihiga Senator, 5 Million.

Kenneth Marende, former National Assembly Speaker, 3 Million.
