Akothee is a distraught mother after her hopes of reuniting with her children were crushed following the surge of Covid-19 infections in France.
Europe in general is battling a second wave of Covid-19 infections that has seen several countries re-impose tight restrictions in a last-ditch effort to protect hospitals from becoming overwhelmed with virus patients.
France reimpose national lockdown that has effectively halted international travels to the country, affecting the likes of Akothee who has her family there.
The Kenyan singer was heartbroken the moment she realized that she couldn’t travel to France because of the lockdown imposed there.
“France on Total Lock down 😭😭 I have no idea of what is happening but trust me🙏 God has his own reasons as to why things happen they way they do .I now know how it feels working far away from your own children, may God keep every parent trying to make ends meet,” wrote a distraught Akothee.
Adding that;
“My passport is the most useless document I have in my wallet right now 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔 😡😡😡😑😡😡 It can only take me to Rongo and other places but not France where my uterus and interest is .
