Former president Daniel Toroitich arap Moi undergoes a minor surgery

The former president of Kenya, Daniel Toroitich arap Moi has undergone a minor surgery.

The 93-year-old former head of State who was sworn in as president in 1978 and left office in 2001 was on  Friday, January 27 admitted to Aga Khan hospital for a minor routine check up after experiencing excruciating pain on his knee which later on led to a minor surgery.

The surgery was successful and he is currently recuperating at his residence after being discharged
