Flavour N’Abania popularly known as Flavour had a sit-down interview with Ebuke the other day on the Blackbox interview where he opened up about a lot of things.
Flavour has an interesting come-up story that everybody ought to have a listen to because it will explain how far he’s come to become the international artiste he is today.
Flavour who now lives in his own house Ikoyi(trust me that’s where the rich of the rich live) opened up about how he used to stay at dingy dim-lit bordellos when he first came to Lagos from Enugu State to pursue his music dream of becoming the best highlife musician yet.
Flavour made 200, 000 Naira as solo artiste a couple of years ago when he was just starting out, he had released his hit song N’Abania to now becoming a pan African musician who appreciates all genre of music and sound coming from Africa.
Flavour wants Nigerian media to play Diamond Platnumz, Fally Ipupa songs, not only Afrobeats
Flavour was surprisingly humbled talking about his past and now being one of the richest artistes not only in Nigeria but across Africa said he’s done shows almost everywhere in the world.
He apparently has a real, authentication fan base from South America who knows his songs from his debut album N’Abania to his recent one singing word for word. His fanbase is of a global scale.
Flavour who wants Nigerian media to play songs from different genres of music like Tanzania’s Bingo, Congolese Makosa, or Lingala especially songs by Diamond Platnumz and Fally Ipupa says that he can only be booked for 10,000,000 Naira per show/gig and above.
international artistes that collaborated with Papa Dennis before his passing
2020 might have been a full year for a lot of musicians around the world but not Flavour, he was actually one of the most booked musicians last year, the Enugu State native made good money last year.
His performed fees are more of the same as those of Diamond Platnumz who also charge heftily for his performance.
Both Diamond Platnumz and Flavour who are actually good friends don’t play when it comes to their performance fees.
