‘Fire That Messy Tailor!’ – TikToker Nyako Slams Prince Indah’s Wedding Attire

TikTok sensation Nyako has ruffled feathers online after offering a rather blunt critique of Ohangla singer Prince Indah’s lavish traditional wedding.

While acknowledging the joyous occasion that saw the musician celebrate his union with his wife Winnie NyaMigori, Nyako took to her popular TikTok page to tear into the couple’s wedding attire, holding no punches in her assessment of the designer, city-based Bolo Bespoke.

In a typically outspoken video, Nyako suggested that Prince Indah would have been better off sourcing his traditional wear from Nigeria, implying that the quality and authenticity would have surpassed what was produced locally.

“Prince Indah could have gone to Nigeria and bought original attire from there rather than wasting money on Kenya’s city fashion designer Bolo Bespoke,” she declared, her tone laced with disbelief.

But Nyako’s criticism didn’t stop at just the quality. She went on to say that the entire fashion display at the wedding was unimpressive, suggesting that Bolo Bespoke should face the consequences for what she deemed a sartorial disaster.

“The wedding was good, but for me, the wedding looks like a funeral. There was no dress code since the public was mixed with the main agenda, resulting in a galore of confusion. Even if you say I’m jealous, I’ve never seen a horrible dresser on an occasion like that. Mwenye alishona hivyo vitu should be fired immediately,” Nyako exclaimed, using a Swahili phrase meaning “the one who sewed those things.”

Interestingly, Nyako also addressed claims of jealousy, vehemently denying any such sentiment towards the happy couple.

She even pointed out that the wedding wasn’t a new union, stating the pair had been married for nearly a decade. Instead, her ire was squarely aimed at the fashion choices.

Her most pointed remark targeted what appeared to be a cross design incorporated into Prince Indah’s beaded attire.

“Sasa Bolo ameshona mpaka msalaba eti beads. I nearly thought Prince Indah was a Catholic Church preacher,” she quipped, suggesting the design was inappropriate for traditional wear.

Despite her harsh words for the designer, Nyako was quick to clarify her stance on Prince Indah himself, emphasizing her admiration for him and his music.

She insisted her comments were born out of a desire to protect him from what she perceived as financial exploitation.

“We love him and we love his music, but we don’t want people to mislead him into wasting his money. I don’t know the millions he spent on his wedding, but he was duped,” Nyako asserted.

Her outspoken critique has already ignited a flurry of reactions online, with some agreeing with her assessment of the attire and others jumping to the defence of Bolo Bespoke and the celebratory fashion choices.

Whether Nyako’s comments will reach the ears of Prince Indah or Bolo Bespoke remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: this TikToker’s unfiltered opinion has added an unexpected layer of drama to what was intended to be a purely joyous occasion.
