Femi One has lived to her word of promising that her debut project dubbed ‘XXV’ which is Roman’s equivalent to 25. Those two numbers plays a major role in naming of her project since she just turned 25 years old.
Femi One, was the first mainstream rapper to get signed by King Kaka under his label and management company, Kaka Empire and she has been able to play her part in the company by releasing numerous hit records which has proven she’s a versatile artiste who can’t be put inside a box and describe her as a one-genre artiste.
Living to her promise, Femi One made sure her ‘XXV’ project was one of kind having brought established record producers in the music industry today to be a part of it. Musyoka, Ricco Beatz, Jack Jack on the beat and Kevin Provoke are the record producers who worked on the project.
Last Thursday on her 35th birthday, Femi One released her debut ‘XXV’ EP a couple days after releasing the first hit record ‘Hiyo One’ off the project that had the industry shaking from the ripple it caused. The project has six records with the creative direction for the EP being facilitated by King Kaka, Mbithi and Kevin Provoke.

Speaking on the release of her EP during her listening party at Wings Kenya last Thursday, Femi said, “It is my quarter life! It comes with a lot of things. Mostly I give thanks! For my gifts and how far I’ve come and for the inspiration that I’ve gained these 25 years. This EP is a gift to my fans showing them why rap is my first and only love”.
Femi One has shown tremendous growth in the music industry with a string of hits upon hits. The EP XXV is a representation of how much her craft has grown, watch this space for more from the star!
