I must admit. Nairobi has made strides in terms of fashion.Thank you Mundia(thisisess)and your fellow fashion bloggers; both men and women.By the mere fact that I have something to crane my neck for in the bus on my way home. However,everyone needs some schooling at any point. Today lessons are to MEN!!!
1. THE SANDALS
If you are going to be wearing sandals. It is always advisable to have a linen outfit.I mean linen pants and a light shirt.Note!Thou shall not wear sandals with jeans trousers at any time.Otherwise, if you really have faith in your legs you can do nice cargo shorts with sandals.And no!By sandals I don’t mean croaks or slippers. Bathroom slippers just belong there the Bathroom!!!
2. SPORT SHOES
You are probably wondering why I decided to start with criticising shoes.It is because I have an issue with guys who think they can get away with bad shoes.No you can’t!
If at any point you decided to wear sport shoes.Look around and ask yourself whether you are in a playground,field or gym.If you are not,get them off!!!I close my case.
3. TRENCH COATS
Trench coats are one of the biggest statement outfits any guy can wear.When choosing a trench coat you need to consider the following things:Ensure the sleeve is just the right size.It should never ever be longer or shorter.Also ensure that they are male intended.Many at times men end up wearing female trenches unknowingly.Male trenches have broader and structured shoulders rather than the curved/slanting ones.Also rarely would male trenches be zipped.Most times they have big unaccessorised buttons(simple buttons). To ensure you nail the trench look at ensure you pair it with nice, unfaded pants that are simple. Preferably khaki.I wish you all the best in your journey to make a fashion statement.
4: LOAFERS WITHOUT SOCKS
