Ezekiel Mutua came to Rev Lucy Natasha’s aid after the celebrated, revered woman of cloth became a subject of discussion on social media the entire day yesterday.

Yesterday, many netizens were quick to throw obvious and subliminal jabs at Rev Lucy Natasha after she shared photos of herself taking the Covid-19 vaccine.

Taking the vaccine wasn’t the problem with netizens, the problem that sparked netizens to talk about her, radio presenter and Churchill show comedian MCA Tricky notwithstanding was the tattoo that she was spotted with.

This is what Rev Lucy Natasha shared on her Facebook page accompanied by the photos underneath.

“Together with my pastoral team, I took the COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccine at RFH Health Care in adherence to government and medical recommendations for clergy and frontline workers as we combine our efforts in overcoming this global pandemic.”

Kenyans on Twitter and on other social media platforms had a field day with Rev Lucy Natasha yesterday calling her out for having a tattoo knowingly despite being a prophet.

Yesterday was a very long day for the reverend.

Coming to her defense, the KFCB(Kenya Films and Classification Board) CEO Dr. Ezekiel Mutua told Rev Natasha to go on preaching and winning souls for the Lord in her ministry and turn a blind ear to the online bullies who were attacking her for having a tattoo.

Dr. Ezekiel Mutua said that it doesn’t matter if she has a tattoo or not, she’s still ordained to make sure the word of the Almighty is heard and spread everywhere.

”Rev. Lucy Natasha, preach on and turn your back to the critics, skeptics, and naysayers. People will always talk tattoo or no tattoo. Shine on for the Lord and reach out to souls. There is nothing you can do to please everyone!” Dr. Ezekiel Mutua shared online via his official Twitter account.

Rev. Lucy Natasha responded saying, “Thanks  @EzekielMutua for the words of encouragement and much humbled touching lives and reaching our generation with the message of hope and faith in God.”
